Meet the Founder and Design Director Princess Kaarde, a Zambian born fashion designer, currently residing in Denmark. Her work over the years has focused on bringing out afro-centric and western style for all.

Her vision is to see her brand become a household name worldwide, doing business while helping the needy. 20% of every purchase you make at Ipalo Designs goes to charity, in the areas of education and mental health for people with epilepsy. By purchasing from Ipalo Designs, you are also contributing to this cause and making a difference in someone’s life. her business donates to widows empowerment, orphans education and epilepsy programmes.

She has dressed celebrities and personalities like Jeppe the Director of skædedyrsbekemperen – Denmark. The Queen of Jazz, Classic Blues, Soul and Gospel miriammandipira the Queen of jazz, classic blues, soul and gospel – Denmark. She has been featured in blogs and articles and showcased Ipalo Designs at the Zambian Fashion Week and the African Fashion Show Copenhagen respectively.

All the materials used by ipalo designs are eco-friendly. We make it a point to do our part in caring for the environment. We make sure all the materials used are eco-freindly so that you have peace of mind with every purchase.

We also make it a point to source our materials from different parts of the globe including Africa and Europe. This deliberate move to source globally allows us to support small businesses and help build communities in multiple parts of the world.

Our Designers

Meet our senior fashion designers Katowando Nyasa and Daniel Simpungwe, both experts with over 20 yrs of experience in the industry. They oversee all projects and design original pieces among other things.
